A real wedding / Ko Olina, Oʻahu

The photobomb we’ll never forget.

A sunset portrait, a borrowed trident, and a very unexpected guest.

Behind the photograph

And then Jason Momoa walked by.

Eric was photographing an intimate wedding and sunset portraits near Ko Olina when he noticed Jason Momoa nearby with a media crew. Eric suggested a playful walk through the background. Momoa joined in, borrowing a trident from a boy on the beach.

The result was a wedding photograph nobody could have put on a shot list. It also says something about why we keep looking around: sometimes a little attention, and a willingness to join the fun, makes a photograph you couldn’t have planned.
