Hawaii Wedding Photographer – Honolulu Wedding

This Hawaii destination wedding was the epitome of fun and laid-back.  The bride and groom traveled from the California Bay Area to Oahu for their intimate Hawaii wedding.  The day started out at a beach front private estate  in the Hawaii Kai area of Honolulu where the bride had her makeup done and got ready for the big day.  The beach wedding ceremony was held at Waialae Beach Park amongst their closest family and friends.  The couple was blessed with some lucky wedding day rain off an on but the sun made a few cameo appearances at all the right times.Hawaii Wedding Photographer based in Honolulu OahuOahu Wedding Photographer in Honolulu HawaiiHawaii Wedding Photographers at Lamour Photography on Oahu

The happy couple’s Honolulu wedding reception was held back at the private estate where the bride and groom enjoyed delicious food from Huki Lau Catering.  Paradise Cake Creations provided the 3 tier cupcake wedding cake with a round cake topping the tiers.  Wedding cake and cupcakes featured blue butter-cream frosting with coral accents and seashell shaped chocolates.  The cake cutting turned into an all out cake war with blue butter-cream flying everywhere! This wedding was so much fun, we are so thankful to have such great clients and to meet all of their family and friends too!

Hawaii Wedding Photographer – L’Amour’s Daily Shot of Love – Never coming Down

This Hawaii destination wedding bride and groom from California had the great idea to have their wedding ceremony and reception at a private estate in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu, over looking Kaneohe Bay. Private estates can be great wedding venues for smaller Hawaii weddings. In some cases, the houses may be rented out to the couple and their guests in the days surrounding the wedding. That can really make a difference to your guests’ and your families’ experience while in Hawaii for your wedding.  No need to deal with hotels, parking issues, or scheduling to meet up with people. To top that, you don’t have to worry about your guests showing up late to your wedding since they will already be there!

This particular private estate had a gorgeous view of Kaneohe Bay as well as a manicured garden with a heart-shaped bush, an inviting pool (so inviting, that the best man jumped right in after doing his speech during the reception!).

Oahu Wedding Photographer – Malia and Brian – North Shore Private Estate

Malia and Brian were joined by many of their closest family and friends at a beautiful 4 home estate on the North Shore of Oahu for a private beach ceremony under an amazingly clear blue sky. Malia and Brian used to beauty of the natural Hawaiian surroundings to decorate their intimate wedding party.  Local wild tropical flowers and leaves were used in the bouquets and to decorate the grounds. It was simply stunning and natural.

Malia wore a silky-satin light turquoise slip dress accompanied by her bridesmaids wearing bathing suits covered by coordinated sarongs.  Everyone in the wedding party, and almost all the guests, enjoyed the wedding barefoot with the soft sands of the North Shore between their toes.

Thank you to Malia and Brian for having us as your Hawaii Wedding Photographers. Mucho Mahalo!
