This wedding has too much gorgeousness to show but we wanted to start off with the wedding video from this recent Turtle Bay resort wedding with photography and video by our team here at L’Amour. Stunning location, beaming bride and groom, lovely lavender and cream details all with a colorful sunset and beachfront reception under a clear tent with sparkling chandeliers! the bride wore a pale blush or pink colored wedding dress with a satin sash and sweatheart neckline accented by a veil with bead trim and pearl jewelry. Did we mention those cream colored Badgley Mischka wedding shoes with crystal detailing on the back! The groom wore a light gray suit with a pale lavender or purple paisley tie and pocket square.
The cute little flower girls wore tulle dresses with shades of purple and helped carry this sign announcing “Here comes the love of your life” as the bride and her father prepared to walk down the isle of the Turtle Bay Resort Pavillion Chapel . From this beautiful open air wedding ceremony chapel you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks, spot surfers out on the waves, and witness one of the best views of sunsets on Oahu that you will find! It’s no wonder why this is a popular location for Hawaii weddings and one of our favorite venues for our Hawaii wedding photography and video team.
A few days after this absolutely stunning destination wedding on Oahu we did a “Post wedding photo session” or “Trash the Dress” session on the North Shore of Oahu. These are really great opportunities to get more wedding portraits at various locations and under much less stress and hustle that happens on the day of the wedding ceremony and reception. Our cute couple was able to get more wedding photos with the ability to sit and walk along the sand and get some photos with extra cute touches like the surf board. We hope you have liked these wedding photos and video as much as our photography and video team did capturing these moments! We seriously have the sweetest couples!
We will leave you with this cute photo of the bride and broom walking off down the beach with their footsteps in the sand. We think this couple’s wedding really shows the benefit of having wedding photography and video done on the wedding day. Take a look at our “Prices” page to see our Hawaii wedding photography packages which vary by however many hours and services fit into your wedding timeline. You can also view our video packages which you can acquire separately or individually, no need to pair services. You can mix and match photography and/or video packages based on what makes sense with your wedding timeline. Our couples have expressed how much they love our flexibility and how it has made their wedding planning easier and wedding day smoother by working with our wedding team as we offer both Photography and Videography under one cohesive team. Feel free to contact us with any questions! Please check out our Facebook page and Instagram to see more Hawaii wedding photography and videos!
We love capturing all of the little details that the bride and groom excitedly chose in the months leading up to their wedding. The perfect shoes to dance the night away. Gorgeous wedding bouquet with colors and textures that add to the overall look of the bride, bridesmaids, groom, groomsmen and centerpieces! The right amount of sparkly and sentimental jewelry to make the bride feel and look as special as she should on her wedding day. The wedding rings are always a fun item to photograph as they are so personal and will be with the couple for the rest of their lives as the symbol of their commitment to marriage. We can’t forget special moments like the one below of the cute little flower girl covering her eyes as the bride and groom had their first kiss during their ceremony at the Crystal Chapel in Koolina!
We suggest to our couples an engagement session if possible a few months before their big day. This gives the couples beautiful photos to include on their wedding website or on their save the dates! Aside from those great reasons, it give the future bride and groom an opportunity to test out how they feel in front of the camera and gives our photography team the ability to work with the couple before the wedding day. It is always great if the couple is already familiar with and comfortable with the Hawaii wedding photography and video team by the time the big day comes! It’s not everyday that two people are followed around by so many photographers and videographers, so this little “practice session” can really help with the jitters. We also can add-on a portrait session to any wedding package for an after wedding or “trash the dress” session. This can be great for couples who have a tight timeline on the wedding day and want more photos. An after wedding session can also be great because the stress and rush of the wedding day has passed and the bride and groom can really be themselves with no one waiting on them and no schedule to adhere to or aunties and uncles grabbing them for hugs all night long!
Our Photography and Video team focuses on weddings the majority of the year, but when we get a chance we like to photograph engaged couples visiting Hawaii for engagement session, or families who want to capture memories of their special trip to Hawaii. We are always excited to watch our couples grow from fiances to bride and groom and eventually contact us for maternity sessions and family. We hope you enjoyed these photos! If you’d like to see more please check out our Facebook, Instagram, and YELP pages!

Today is a historic day for marriage equality and we wanted to celebrate with a photo of one of our recent same sex wedding on Oahu. Its a simple moment captured on a very special day, but we feel like it says a thousand words. Cheers to love and marriage.
How beautiful does this three tier round wedding cake look! Simply white buttercream frosting with soft pink and blush roses add a classic and romantic feel that was carried throughout this lovely Lanikuhonua wedding on Oahu.
When I saw the gorgeous mehndi painted hands of our bride, I was so excited to photograph them! We love how our wedding couples have found ways to bring their cultural or religious traditions all the way out to Hawaii with them and allow us to capture the diversity of how love is celebrated all over the world. We have so many photos of these beautiful traditions that I cant wait to share with you! Here is one that I just am in awe of. What a beautiful way to start a new life together, in these lovely hands.
Can you believe how beautiful this sunset was? This lovely bride and groom celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception beach front at a wedding venue in Maui. Our bride was stunning in a corseted wedding gown adorned with beading and flower details accented by a jeweled crown. She looked like a real life princess.
Our bride at Turtle Bay Resort held this gorgeous bouquet at her beach wedding ceremony on the North Shore of Oahu. This stunning bouquet was adorned with pearls, seashells, light pink ribbons, and starfish! A mermaid’s dream bouquet for sure.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, we would like to share with you our very own personal photos from L’Amour Photography and Video owner and photographers, Eric and Wendy’s vow renewal. For this special day, we hired our team of photographers and videographers to capture our intimate ceremony at Bayer Estate on Oahu. Some of our favorite Hawaii wedding vendors made this day everything we wanted it to be. Makeup and hair was done by the very talented Heather Heen of Delish Makeup with our ceremony performed by Kahu Wendell Silva. Wendy’s bouquet and floral headpiece, called a haku in Hawaiian, as well as all of the lovely flower arrangements, props and decor was by Debbie Hemingway of Designs by Hemingway. And of course, the most peaceful wedding venue on Oahu, the only place we would want to host our intimate ceremony, Bayer Estate.
The simple yet whimsical backdrop of the wedding ceremony was designed using blue, teal and cream colored fabric strip ribbons which swayed in the wind as we renewed our vows. A vintage distressed blue and white painted door added a nice touch to the ceremony site. After our intimate ceremony, we headed to the beach in front of Bayer Estate to lounge and enjoy some champagne. This cute scene is from Designs by Hemingway and featured multiple textures to create a luxurious yet, beachy feel.
I can’t even put into words how sweet this couple is. The couple came together in the hallway of their Oahu wedding venue to share their love letters before the ceremony. There was no peeking during this time, but the bride and groom held hands the whole time, shed tears and laughter, and took the last few moments together before they made that walk down the aisle to make it official! Stay posted for more to come from this beachfront wedding on Oahu.
The Big Island has so much natural beauty to offer it’s visitors with the volcanoes, lava fields, snow capped mountains, gorgeous snorkeling, and black sand beaches. But one of the other major draws to the Big Island is the Iron Man World Championships bringing together some of the best athletes in the world. Eric recently traveled out to the Big Island to photograph this stunning couple during the frenzy of the Iron Man competition week. It was definitely an experience Eric wont forget! Congratulations to our lovely couple!
We are excited to share one of our recent Hawaii wedding video Highlights of our sweet bride and groom’s beach wedding in Waimanalo on Oahu. The bride and groom said “I do” with their toes in the sand and then headed to Waikiki for a night of delicious food, dancing, cake and fireworks to top it all off at Tiki’s Grill and Bar. This wedding reception was held at the Coconut Club high above the Waikiki Strip with amazing views of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach and the weekly fireworks show. What can I say. Our team has been pretty busy for such a long time, we have so many weddings to blog about! We are very excited to be back and blogging about our many wonderful couples’ weddings in Hawaii!
This featured wedding was a gorgeous tropical themed wedding with wedding colors of coral and teal held at the stunning West Oahu wedding venue of Lanikuhonua. Seahorses, starfish, shells, Hawaiian patterns and waves were used throughout the wedding invitations, ceremony chair decor, reception tables and centerpieces. We hope you all enjoy these gorgeous Oahu wedding details and the super cute bride and groom as much as we did!
While the bride and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in their Waikiki hotel bridal suite, they wore matching floral robes. The ladies looked so lovely in their teal robes with the bride stood out in a matching robe in white. This Hawaii destination wedding bride wore a lace wedding gown with a sweet-heart neckline and embellished sash. The wedding gown was accessorized with exotic styled earnings and a bracelet with coral, red and blue stones to match her wedding theme colors. The groom wore a candy striped coral and white bow-tie with his black suit
This is the oceanfront Hawaii wedding venue Lanikuhonua found on the West coast of Oahu among the Ko’olina Lagoons. Musicians played and sang traditional Hawaiian music as the guests arrived and were seated. Guests were given woven fans to shade themselves during the ceremony. The Bride and Groom stood in front of their closest family and friends as they exchanged leis and their vows with the Pacific Ocean, palm trees and mountain range as a backdrop.
This Oahu wedding reception was adorned with coral and teal paper lanterns and strings of lights. Reception tables featured a real pineapple as the centerpiece, white gold plates as table numbers, as well as mason gars with shells and tea lights on burlap table runners. The bride and groom’s chairs had personalized wood signs hanging with “Mr” and “Mrs” written on them. Guests were greeted with seating cards of teal and coral wave shaped tags tied onto starfish. What a cute tropical wedding detail! The bride and groom gifted each guest with a mason jar of Hawaiian Res Alaea Salt as the wedding favor.
The newlyweds cut their single level square cake with the cutest cake set ever. The silver cake cutting set was stamped with their names and “Together Forever” and two forks were stamped with “I Do” and “Me Too.” All of these cute wedding decor details created a fun atmosphere that carried from the ceremony through the reception. This fun loving bunch danced the night away under the colorful paper lanterns and strings of lights and ended the night with a kiss and a dip!
